our designs
hackbat poc
The first probe of concept of what we want to do. The Hackbat PoC was released on 2024 April and first time ever presented at ViCON (Spain).
It is based on the Raspberry PI Microcontroller RP2040. Its features are:
The project was shared on GitHub, starred more than 600 times, and Hackster where reached more than 70k views.
hackbat badge
For the first time, in 2024 we went to DEFCON conference in Las Vegas, so we needed to create a new design to present there, and what better than a badge?
This design is based on the ESP32C3 microcontroller, that features WIFI (2.4GHz) and BT LE. This features allow the badge to be connected to any WIFI network, or even work as a WIFI Access Point. The badge also integrates an OLED display, 6 puch buttons and 4 smart LEDs.
This design was shared on GitHub and hackaday.io
hackbat AP lite (on going)
How simple could be a WIFI Access Point. The hackbat access point is a WIFI AP configurable with just one switch and two LEDs.
This board is intended to be used in Hardware Hacking trainings and features the great ESP32C3 microcontroller.
Next training: RootedLab VLC (Oct. 15)
hackbat v1.0 (on going)
We are working on a stable release of a Hackbat. This design will fix some issues found in the PoC, and will improve some aspects of the device. The goals of this new design are:
